Ichiban Kuji My Hero Academia “The Story Up to Becoming the Greatest Hero”: first info, prizes revealed, and a tease of surprises

My Hero Academia returns to Ichiban Kuji… and it goes straight for the origin story

The new lottery Ichiban Kuji My Hero Academia - The story until becoming the greatest hero lands in September 2026 (in-store sales), and the theme is crystal clear: we’re going back to the very core of what makes My Hero Academia, the duo Izuku Midoriya and All Might, plus the key figures of Class 2-A and U.A. High. The official line-up already confirms some perfectly targeted Masterlise pieces, with announced sizes and character picks that scream the story’s “foundation” era: the legacy of One For All, a class being built, and the adults keeping it all in line.

Confirmed prizes: Masterlise, an iconic duo, and peak fan-service picks

Here are the prizes already officially revealed for this Ichiban Kuji My Hero Academia. For each prize, I’ll place the character in the story (arc/moment) and give you the available hard info (size, line).

  • A: Izuku Midoriya and All Might MASTERLISE PLUS (All Might approx. 27 cm, Izuku approx. 5 cm): the duo that sums up all of My Hero Academia, from the moment All Might chooses Izuku and says “you can become a hero,” to the first steps at U.A. The “PLUS” format with a big All Might + a mini Izuku is exactly the master-and-successor symbolism of One For All.
  • B: Katsuki Bakugo MASTERLISE (approx. 24 cm): Bakugo in “hero in the making” mode, the explosive Class 2-A student who goes from toxic rival to a true competitor obsessed with victory. This is exactly the kind of piece that calls back to the big rivalry moments with Izuku (exams, training, growth), without going for some ultra-rare “event costume” version: here, it’s pure Bakugo DNA.
  • C: Shota Aizawa MASTERLISE (approx. 26 cm): the homeroom teacher of Class 2-A, the one who brings everyone back to reality from day one (Quirk aptitude test, discipline, mindset). Aizawa is the “class setup” arc and the U.A. method: cold on the surface, fiercely protective underneath.
  • D: Principal Nezu MASTERLISE (approx. 12 cm): a super cool pick and not that common for a big lottery. Nezu is the brain of U.A. High, the one overseeing exams and the school’s security. The fact he’s in MASTERLISE with an announced size (12 cm) clearly positions him as a “key character” piece rather than a simple mini prize.

Spotlight with HD visuals: the ones we want to see in person

I’m sharing the official high-quality visuals (one image per prize), with the size info and the My Hero Academia “moment” it evokes.

A : Izuku Midoriya et All Might MASTERLISE PLUS

A: Izuku Midoriya and All Might MASTERLISE PLUS

All Might (approx. 27 cm) + Izuku (approx. 5 cm): the mentor/successor duo of One For All, directly tied to the story’s kickoff and the entrance to U.A. High. The size contrast is intentional and fits the “Symbol of Peace” dynamic guiding the future hero.

B : Katsuki Bakugo MASTERLISE

B: Katsuki Bakugo MASTERLISE

Approx. 24 cm: Bakugo in “Izuku’s number-one rival” mode, the one aiming for the top from the very first U.A. arcs. A Masterlise of him often comes with a pose that highlights his aggressive presence and combat intensity—right in the spirit of Class 2-A’s training and clashes.

C : Shota Aizawa MASTERLISE

C: Shota Aizawa MASTERLISE

Approx. 26 cm: Aizawa, the teacher who sets the pro-level bar from the very start of the year at U.A. and reminds everyone that “hero” = responsibility. If you collect U.A. High’s adult characters, this one is a major series marker.

D : Directeur Nezu MASTERLISE

D: Principal Nezu MASTERLISE

Approx. 12 cm: U.A. High’s principal, strategist, and the organizer behind major evaluation setups. As a main prize, it’s original (and very collector-friendly), because Nezu is central… but rarely showcased as a “big” piece.

E : Izuku Origine MASTERLISE

E: Izuku Origin MASTERLISE

Announced size: figure approx. 7 cm (approx. 17 cm with the chair). “Origin” points straight to the very beginning: Izuku before he’s recognized, building his hero dream no matter what. The included chair and the “with stand” height suggest a staged, more narrative display rather than a simple action pose.

F : Figurine All Might type poupée MASTERELIVE COLLECTION

F: All Might doll-style figure MASTERELIVE COLLECTION

Approx. 15 cm: All Might in a “doll” version (Masterelive Collection line). It’s a totally different angle from classic Masterlise: instead of the Symbol of Peace as a statue, you get a more stylized “collector object” take—perfect if you want to mix up lines while sticking with a central One For All character.

Dernier lot : Izuku Midoriya 10e anniversaire MASTERLISE

Last Prize: Izuku Midoriya 10th Anniversary MASTERLISE

Approx. 21 cm: reward for the very last ticket drawn. The “10th Anniversary” label signals a special Izuku version, designed as an event piece rather than a simple callback to a specific arc. Clearly the Kuji “chase” prize—the one that triggers display-case endgames.

Still a mystery: prizes G, H, I + Double Chance

Officially, prizes G, H, I and the Double Chance are still unrevealed. So no fluff: for now, we only know they exist and that the Kuji will expand further. Given the “until becoming the greatest hero” theme, it feels like a selection of items/collectibles that round out the origins and life at U.A… but we’re waiting on visuals and names to confirm.

Practical info: Ichiban Kuji My Hero Academia - The story until becoming the greatest hero is scheduled for September 2026 for in-store sales, priced at 790 yen (tax included). As always with Ichiban Kuji, it’s “while supplies last.”

If you’re aiming for a “pure story” piece: Prize A (Izuku and All Might) is the symbol of One For All in a single scene. And if you’re playing it smart: keep an eye on the Last Prize Izuku 10th Anniversary—that’s typically the one that vanishes fastest when a display starts to empty.

We’re waiting for the official reveal of prizes G, H, I and the Double Chance to complete the hunting guide.
