Ichiban Kuji Pokémon 30th Anniversary vol.1: the theme that hits you right in the feels
This Ichiban Kuji Pokémon 30th Anniversary vol.1 (in-store sale) celebrates the most “Pokémon” thing ever: your very first choice. The “starter trios” from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh take center stage—just like the moment a Trainer begins their journey and chooses their partner. And of course, Pikachu is here in an anniversary version, with a huge “Last One” prize that’s going to destroy stock.
All prizes (A to J + Last One + Double Chance)
This one is super “anniversary”: everyday items (clock, glass, plate), and above all region starters as “selectable” plushies (when indicated), plus some collection bonuses (metal charms, rubber collection).

Prize A: 30th Anniversary Acrylic Clock
Size: approx. 18 cm. An acrylic clock designed around the “start of the adventure”: it highlights the three starter Pokémon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. It’s literally the saga’s iconic moment: when you choose your partner at the beginning of the journey, region by region.
Prize B: 30th Anniversary Pikachu Plate
Size: approx. 19 cm. An anniversary plate featuring a Pikachu silhouette. Pikachu is the face of the franchise and the most recognizable partner—here, the fun is trying to guess the pose from the silhouette.
Prize C: Plushies of Kanto’s three starter Pokémon (choice available)
3 designs (selectable) • Size: approx. 15 cm. Kanto is the “origin” region: the very first start, the very first partner. Here, you can pick your favorite of the three—exactly like when the adventure begins.
Prize D: Plushies of Johto’s three starter Pokémon (choice available)
3 designs (selectable) • Size: approx. 16 cm. Johto is the direct continuation of that “journey + badges” vibe: you start from zero, choose your starter, and build your team. Same idea here: grab your favorite starter partner.
Prize E: Plushies of Hoenn’s three starter Pokémon (choice available)
3 designs (selectable) • Size: approx. 13 to 16 cm. Hoenn is all about that fresh start vibe—new routes, and that starter choice that defines your early game. Once again, the Kuji lets you choose your partner.
Prize F: Plushies of Sinnoh’s three starter Pokémon (choice available)
3 designs (selectable) • Size: approx. 15 cm. Sinnoh is the region where you really feel that “start of the adventure” in next-gen form: starter, Pokédex, first catches. Here, you pick your starter like it’s day one of the journey.
Prize G: 30th Anniversary Glasses (choice available)
3 designs (selectable) • Size: approx. 14 cm. Anniversary glasses you can pick based on your style. Definitely the kind of “usable” prize that fits the celebration theme without focusing on a specific character.
Prize H: Hand Towels (choice available)
5 designs (selectable) • Size: approx. 23 cm. Patterns tied to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Pikachu, with a shiny Poké Ball design in the center. Perfect if you want to rep your “home” region like a badge of belonging.
Prize I: Rubber Collection (choice available)
6 designs (selectable): 3 rubber straps (approx. 13 cm) + 3 coasters (approx. 8 cm). It’s the “practical + collection” prize: choose based on how you’ll use it, and it mixes easily with other Pokémon goodies.
Prize J: 30th Anniversary Metal Charms (random)
12 designs (not selectable) • Size: approx. 4 cm • with a long chain. The official idea is clear: you can attach it to the plushies from prizes C to F (starter + charm = instant “starter partner” combo), or use it as a bag charm. But yeah—this is a lottery within the lottery: you don’t get to choose.
Last One: 30th Anniversary Male Pikachu Plush
Size: approx. 50 cm. The big one: an anniversary male Pikachu plush holding a plaque with the 30th anniversary logo. It’s announced as an item exclusive to Ichiban Kuji, and you get it by pulling the very last ticket left on the display.
Double Chance: 30th Anniversary Male Pikachu Plush (same prize as Last One)
Same plush as the Last One (male Pikachu, approx. 50 cm, 30th anniversary logo plaque). 50 winners total, and the campaign runs from release until late August 2026 (with a possible extension announced). If you miss the Last One in-store, this is your official Plan B.
What makes this Ichiban Kuji Pokémon 30th Anniversary vol.1 really cool for fans is the “start of the adventure” focus: you can literally build a set by region (starter plush + metal charm), then round it out with the anniversary items.
Quick recap: 750 yen per draw, release on May 30, 2026 (rolling), available in stores (no online sales announced), and Double Chance until late August 2026.
Now the real question: are you Team Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh starter… and are you going to try the sprint to the last ticket to lock in that 30th anniversary Pikachu?
