Shin Godzilla Big Sofubi Figure – Heat Ray Emission Ver.

[Comment from Yuji Sakai] Just before Godzilla’s heat ray turns Tokyo into a sea of flames, we recreated and further emphasized that striking scene where, in pitch-black darkness, Godzilla’s dorsal plates glow and shine with dazzling beauty. When light passes through, the purple dorsal plates look as if they are actually emitting light, bringing back the excitement of the film’s climax. Sculpting and paintwork: Yuji Sakai.

Shin Godzilla Big Sofubi Figure – Frozen Ver.

[Comment from Yuji Sakai] This coloring is based on the image of Godzilla frozen by Operation Yashiori. The paintwork expresses a texture as if frost has settled over Godzilla’s entire body, clearly bringing out the surface texture and resulting in a finish with a distinctly different appeal. This one, however, was painted with the image of the Kamakura landing, when Shin Godzilla in its fourth form appears for the first time.
